Description: Offering this beautiful vintage 1964, original GIGANTIC FRANKENSTEIN model kit, aka BIG FRANKIE by AURORA Plastics. This guy was nicely put together and 100% complete including original neck bolts, button, chain, rock etc. Very clean with some minor vintage brown glue residue. This is from my collection. Note, the chain connecting ring that attaches to the back of his neck is unglued but present and not broken. You'll just need to glue it if you want him to wear the chain. Finding clean and unpainted Aurora models is tough. An unpainted Big Frankie is very hard to find. This was not stripped. the kid never painted it. I put a metal spring inside to join the arms, so you don't have to worry about rubber bands giving out. Designed by legendary toy designer Marvin Glass, the Willy Wonka of vintage big plastic toys - Big Frankie was initially pitched as a mechanical model, but that idea was nixed by AURORA's Abe Shikes.
