Description: Hello and welcome to the house of Chrome. You are looking at an older Atlas AD-14 model right angle riser / tube with the standard male 5/8 X 27 to male 5/8 X 27 threading. This Ad-14 is in very nice used cosmetic and working condition. It's appx 6 inches long and used to get a better angle with your desk or floor stand for any older screw on type microphone or newer mic clip. Pic # 2 is from an old 1960's Atlas catalog showing this very model. It should be noted that there is an Atlas AD-5B adapter seen in pic # 5 that is used to mount this AD-14 to your desk or floor stand. That AD-5B adapter is not included in this sale but I wanted to show you what you'll need if you plan on mounting the AD-14 to another chrome rider. Otherwise the AD-14 will screw directly into a standard microphone base. The AD-5B's are widely available on both Ebay and Reverb. These adapters are pretty specific and rarely used but they do come in handy for a several situations. I put the AD-14 adapter on top of a regular Atlas DS-5 model desk stand as seen in pic # 6 & 7 so you can get an idea of how it looks and works. The AD-14 shows just a few lite scuff marks and scratches but otherwise very nice. Priced right and ready for use. I do have several of these for sale if you need more than one.
