Description: Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful abstract artist proof print that is framed and matted within a thin edge metal frame. Circa '60s. It's titled "Metromorphosis". Signed in graphite by the artist, John Chious (see photo). This piece will make a stunning addition to any modern interior setting. Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 30.25" tall x 22.25" wide. The visible artwork, excluding the frame and matting, measures approx. 24.75" tall x 18.25" wide. Condition: The artwork appears to be in very good condition - there are no rips, holes, tears, creases, scratches, repairs, etc. The matting shows one very small old moisture mark at the bottom center edge (see photos) - it doesn't particularly detract as it is faint in color, but it is there and is being mentioned for accuracy. The thin edge metal frame is structurally solid, and has light wear that is consistent with age and handling. The glass shows a slight haze on it from the inside - we have not attempted to remove the glass to clean the inside surface. There is a wire hanging mechanism attached to the reverse side of the frame for display purposes. Displays very well!
