Description: 144 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Offering a beautiful, stunningly detailed brass sculpture of a crane / heron / egret type bird.This vintage figurine belonged to my great aunt so I think it may be from about the 1950's-1960s.It measures 12.5" in height and about 4.5" in width. The bird is very detailed, roosting one-legged in a lotus pond with it's neck gracefully curved to look behind it. The feathers are all detailed as is the body and shown leg. The other leg rests on the top of a group of lilies or tall lotus plants. The base has a black felt cover so I cannot see up into the bird but from the weight I think this may be solid.
