Description: This is a vintage Evinrude 3HP Lightwin outboard engine. The model number is 3018 which the best I can tell dates this engine to 1956. This recently came from an estate where is had been stored in a garage for decades. Unfortunately, the family decided this engine was scrap before I arrived and it sustained some damage from being tosses in the scrap pile. There are some dents in the top ars weall as a few breaks including one lower cover that is heavily damaged as shown The engine turns over smoothly and the inside of the gas tank looks pretty clean. I imagine someone could have this up and running with some replacement partsand some know how. That said, this is being listed as parts/not working since I don't know the history of it.
