Description: Vintage lot of 7 Hand-painted Cherub Angel figurines These appear to be made of ceramic and will add the perfect touch of vintage charm to your home decor. Each angel is charmingly painted with gold tone details and are each holding a musical instrument. There are four that are holding a stringed instrument, such as a lyre or guitar; there are two blowing into a trumpet and one playing an accordion or squeeze box type of instrument. The angels each have hand-painted blue eyes, blonde hair and dark red lips. They are unmarked except for the painter's initials (EW) on the bottom of each figurine. I've seen similar ones that have been noted as being from the 1950's, which sounds about right to me. They definitely have mid-century vibes. All are about the same size, measuring about 2 1/2" high. They are perfectly imperfect, with manufacturing flaws and a loose painting style. These are old now and weren't meant to be a precious item when new. I saw some crazing on at least two of them and definitely some dirt/dust as I haven't cleaned them for a long time. However . . . . they are adorable and were a Christmas holiday staple around here for many years. Please review photos for details and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
