Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Vintage 1950's American Character 8" Betsy McCall Doll Wearing Tagged Tonner Costume Cute vintage blue eyed, blonde 8" Betsy McCall doll with pretty facial paint, synthetic wig, sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes, eyebrows, lips and lightly blushed cheeks. Made of hard plastic and jointed at the neck, shoulders hips and knees. Marked in a circle on her lower back. Good condition torso and arms. Perfect fingers. She has one knee that has been glued together and does not bend.She is wearing a tagged Tonner Tiny Betsy costume in excellent condition and includes the dress, hat, purse, petticoat, undies, socks and shoes. her socks do not seem to be original Tonner socks and appear to be home made.CONDITION:Good played with condition. Face paint is good and original. Clear, working sleep eyes with molded lashes. Wig is thick and in original set with barrettes. Perfect fingers and toes. Her hip and knee joints are very loose and she cannot stand alone. I don't have a stand for her. She has some tiny cracks to her knees. She has one knee that has been glued together and does not bend. There are also some stains on her thigh near the stationary knee. Otherwise, the skin is clean and even-toned. No seam splits, bites, or large stains. Tagged Tonner costume is in excellent condition.
