This Global Atlas has global maps, geo-political maps and military action maps that illustrate major military movements. Published in 1943 by The World Publishing Company of Cleveland and New York, it has cartography and printing by J. W. Clement Co. of Buffalo, N.Y. There are 48 numbered pages with 30 pages of maps in vibrant color plus black & white printed line illustrations of other maps, graphs and diagrams. Of special interest are the diagrams of how to identify warplanes. Covers are a cream colored card stock and inside pages are a light weight cream colored paper stock. Two staples hold the booklet together. Dimensions are 10-1/2" x 13-3/4". The condition is good, although both covers detached and most inside pages are intact (except two). There is considerable edge wear as pictured with tears or bent corners but Inside pages are clean. This publication documents a remarkable historical experience, and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of Americana or World War II memorabilia. Thanks for looking.
