vintage 1940s 50s J.B. Simpson Inc. Navy Blue DB Gangster Blazer Sportcoat 40 L

Description: This vintage blazer from J.B. Simpson Inc. is a stunning piece that will make any outfit stand out. Looks awesome - it's not perfect, but still a really solid example of the iconic 1940's era thick gab double breasted/peak lapel gangster blazer, a swing classic! Condition is still wearable and rock solid visually, but it has a couple minor issues. Firstly - it looks like a couple sleeve cuff buttons are missing, one from each cuff, they could have them rearranged so as to match on each cuff and trim up the threads and poof, it would look great with three apiece. Also while we're on the buttons - it looks like the front closure buttons were moved over by 2.25 inches from where they started, giving the chest and waist fit a bit more room and expanding the size a bit. So for all intents and purposes all the sizing in this listing/measurements given below is for how it currently fits. Some threads still remain from where they were origianally that need trimmed up/removed too. The right sleeve cuff has a few TINY speck sized little pinholes in the wool, but aside from that - beautiful.
