Description: This beautiful Tribal rug makes it's way from Cappadocia. It features an allover tribal pattern motif of Hands on Hips (Elibelinde). Hands on hips motif is the symbol of femininity, motherhood and fertility. It is one of the oldest and most widely used tribal motifs. This beauty is intricately detailed around a large center medallion. It's nicely worn and would look great for many decades in your home or office. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven wool pile that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: burgundy, indigo, yellow, gold, and more.  This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades.  We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey.
