Description: Vintage fold-out 1938 Tydol Veedol road map of Maine and Canada's maritime provinces, printed more than 85 years ago. This map opens to 27" x 20" and has great detail on old highway alignments and route numbers, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. The map of the Maritimes (eastern Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island) is on the reverse side, along with inset plans of Montreal, Augusta, and Portland. The map was distributed by the Tide Water Associated Oil Company in 1938 to promote its Tydol gasoline and Veedol motor oil. It is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 11-L. Condition: This map is in very good, lightly used condition, with minor wear and tiny breaks on a couple of the fold corners. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions.
