Description: This listing is for a 1936 Parker Vacumatic Senior fountain pen in Burgundy Pearl with gold filled trim and a 14k gold medium point nib. Truly a rare pen, the Parker Vacumatic Senior was short lived 1-year model from 1936-37. The trim configuration on this one makes it even rarer. This pen has an uncatalogued even wider middle cap band than found on the standard production 1936-37 Vacumatic Seniors. Pen does come with some flaws. Unfortunately, those flaws are located on the cap and affect the cap lip and cap bands. The cap lip has a chip taken out of it and a crack the extends to at least under the wide middle cap band, bottom cap band is missing. Cap bands, clip and tassie all show some brassing to the gold fill. Pen is free from any names, initials or personalizations. Factory imprint has pretty much been worn or polished completely off. Vacumatic filling system has not been restored. Will need restoration if you plan on inking and using this pen. Parker Vacumatic 14k nib. Medium point and is firm. Pen measures 5-3/16”. Burgundy stripped blind cap jewel. Black clip jewel. If you have any questions do not hesitate to message me. Thank you and good luck!
