Description: Vintage 1930-1940s Holzer & CIA Mariposa Felt Doll 17.5". Brazil. Up for bids is this Very pretty vintage felt doll. The head and arms/fingers are felt and the body seems to be cloth covered and rather fully stuffed to make it feel solid. The legs are wooden with the black shoes painted onto the legs. The wooden legs are attached at the stuffed body. The basket with the fruit attached to the head is intact and claen. The face is clean and paint details are sharp. The dress and clothing is in good condition with floral felt adornments all over and are a bit soiled (see photos).
