Description: This 5.5" sauce ladle is in a classic, simple pattern. Made in Sheffield in 1940 by Vinters Ltd. (Emile Viners). Silver weight: 30 grams The spoon is marked on the handle back. Maker's mark is is E.V. for Emile Viners. Crown for Sheffield as manufacuring point, Lion for English Sterling, and date letter capital X, which means 1940. Condition: Excellent giftable condition. No monogram or inscription. No reportable issues, such as flat spots, nicks, dents, pings, dings, bashes, unusual scratches, bends, monogram removals, carbon spots, or other blemishes. Faint surface abrasions create patina consistent with age and use. Pattern is still crisp and not worn away. Recent thorough hand polish. Always happy to pass through discounts on combined shipping.
