Description: Very Very Old Antique Niello Brass Hammered Enamel Box w/ Black/Red/Yellow enamel work There's a dent in the front to look closely at the photos.The dent on the front is noticeable. There's a smaller dent in back which is not much noticeable.The black enamel has gone missing in a number of spots.Please look at the photos to see where the enamel hasbeen lost over the years. I've seen a couple more modern examples of this box anddon't be fooled this box is uniquely much older. Firstthe lining is of a high quality green felt material over wood and thelatch/handle to open the lid is uniquely ornate compared tomodern versions which are plain. The lid opens and closes nicely.
