A vintage Soccer Smurf figurine with multiple manufacturing flaws! ⚽️ I obtained this Smurf with a group of extremely rare and lesser known Smurfs (such as the yellow variant mushroom Smurf and dark brown tennis racquet variant Smurfette). ⚽️ According to the Smurfs Official Collectors Guide “Smurfs with manufacturing flaws, with some missing details, are very rare, having slipped through the very strict quality control before being sold.” Manufacturing flaws:Painting that goes beyond the marked lines - the white portion of the eyes have clearly shifted up and go well beyond their intended border. The eyes could also fall under the category “incomplete painting” as the white does not fully fill in the bottom portion of the eyes as well. In addition, some of the white painting on the hat over the ears goes beyond the hats border.Unpainted details - the shorts and socks have not been painted in. ⚽️ This Smurf is unbranded. The PVC material used feels to be the same as the branded Smurfs to me. ⚽️ Aside from the painting flaws (which make it valuable), the Smurf figure is in GREAT vintage condition with light wear (primarily seen on the hat).
