Description: Located on the far western edge of the Central City district in Clear Creek county is the Lawrence L Mine. I have never seen a specimen of ruby silvers from this area of Central City. The specimen features small coatings and a veinlet of red proustite and pyrargyrite transecting dense quartz. This was a small example that came off the larger specimen in my collection during trimming. It is a bit hard to appreciate from the photos but under a hand lens, the red metallic glint really shows off. Really rare locality and this is a very neat thumbnail for a little-known locality. 4x2.2x2 cm
