Description: Name: Isorophusella incondita (?) Pair (Edrioasteroids)Age: Ordovician Formation: Bobcaygeon FormationLocation: Simcoe County, Ontario, CanadaSize: Plate is 4 inches across! This is a very uncommon pair of echinoderms from the Ordovician of Canada. These are large Isorophusella incondita edrioasteroids - edrioasteroids were primitive echinoderms which consisted of a flexible theca composed of numerous polygonal plates. This pair of edrioasteroids exhibits good detail - the outer rings of small plates are beautifully displayed, and many central ambulacral plates are also present. The cream-colored fossils contrast well with the grey matrix plate. The distinct edrios are well centered and wonderfully showcased on the squared slab of hard limestone. This is a fine double example of this rare echinoderm from Canada. A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS.com is included with this specimen. Insurance is included in the cost of shipping.Note: International customers may have to pay a duty at Customs - every country's rules are different.
