Description: Here is a lovely - and rare - item from Louis Vuitton. This is a thick, somewhat textured, paper box sleeve/wrapper/cover that was used as a decorative addition to a flat LV gift box. I'm sure this has an 'official' name, but I don't know what it was originally called - it's basically a very chic way to wrap an LV box that they used to use instead of ribbon (third pic shows side view so you can see what I'm trying to describe as a 'box sleeve'). Heavy, textured solid color with gold trim and gold LV logo, featuring a separate smaller card in attached in the front upper middle - a watercolor-type rendering. Approx. 10-5/8 wide x 10-3/4 tall. From my personal collection and stored since new (I would say 1990s/early 2000s), this is in great vintage condition (some very slight edge wear; a scuff on the back; lower left corner of watercolor is pulling up slightly). A wonderful item for LV collectors - would be cool to frame or display.
