Description: This book is for someone who wants a book with a story behind it. It is not pristine. In fact it is only an acceptable condition. But it definitely has a story! This vintage engineering book was owned by a student who eventually became a NASA engineer. He worked on the space shuttle program and on the space station program. This book is in only acceptable condition. NOT good condition. This book is personalized. As a student he drew a World War 1 aircraft on the first page. His name is written several times inside the cover. Later in life he had an embossed stamp with his name and initials which he used to emboss all of the books in his personal library, including this book. The outside of the book is scuffed and has wear. It also has some smudges in spots. The smudges almost look like soot, but there is no smell. The top right hand corner looks like it had something, perhaps water, spilled on it. Because of this the top right of the first 50 or so pages are slightly wrinkled from the liquid. The top edges inside edges of the book are dark in color. It looks like some sort of soot, but there is no smell at all to it and it doesn't wipe off.
