Description: ClampuSystemsSingle Sided Vacuum Pod Set Made in the USA! Our vacuum clamps are made from clear cast acrylic (not "PE" polyethylene which will always warp. Be careful of knock-offs). Both sides of these pods are surfaced for flatness and each pod has its own vacuum seal. Each puck is connected together to cover a large area. You can make your own vacuum table or edge guide by mounting the pods down where you like on your bench or a board. When these are set up correctly you can place a wood or metal panel over the pucks, turn on your vacuum generator and you will not be able to pull the panel free. Each disk is 2-1/2” in diameter and accepts the ¼” supplied tubing. We have been selling the same vacuum pods for over 20 years and are always made in the USA. We have supplied general manufacturers, guitar manufacturers, CNC shops, cabinet shops, hobbyists, as well as all sorts of wood shops for their clamping needs. Cabinet installers use these by screwing them to a board with a level and they vacuum attach to the wall. You then can hold your cabinet in place resting on the board while attaching the cabinet to the wall. These can be attached to the work area for a CNC machine. These can also be attached to a workbench so you can use a router on your work piece, sand or shave the surface of your work piece.Note regarding holding and cutting MDF. These pods are NOT recommended for vacuum holding MDF. MDF is very porous and due to this it is very difficult to hold with vacuum unless the side being held is sealed with something like polyurethane.
