Description: I am not a collector and have limited knowledge.. I was told this is a carbine length Krag 30/40 stock with buttplate.. the finish appears original as the proof marks are visible.. the one on the stock on the left side is only half visible and I cant make out the date, only the top left corner is visible as you see in pics.. i cant find signs of it being sporterized cause the finish looks the same, but honestly I am not sure, so please look close and see if it works for you.. the proof mark in the circle behind the trigger is clear, but I dont know what it is or what it means.. i took the best pics I could, so please look close.
