Description: Vintage Goldette Multistrand Pendant Charm Necklace. Unsigned. The Circle Jewelry Co. was founded by Bert Gartner in New York in 1955. In 1958, they made quality costume jewelry under the name Goldette. Not all pieces were signed. Their popular designs included Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Victorian Era. Company closed in 1977. Silver triple strand necklace is unsigned and was made by US jewelry company Goldette. They made reproduction Victorian and Edwardian jewelry in the 1960’s. I am a big fan of their sliding charm bracelets. Statement necklace has some unique characteristics of Goldette, including the multi chains in different link styles, the wide, etched fold over clasp and unique small charms that they used in their pins, necklaces and bracelets. A large coin pendant hangs from the shortest 24” chain. It is a reversible coin reading “Elizabeth II Dei Gratia & Regina”. Or By the Grace of God - Queen Elizabeth II. Pendant’s ornate frame is articulated metal with 3 small similar coins dangling from the bottom. Longest chain measures 36”. Closure is a wide etched fold over clasp. It is in very good condition.
