Although the kit is sold with or without new linkage, dont purchase it without linkage. The cost is about $40 when purchased with the kit, but forget about using some other brand. The linkage sells separately for $90+ and it states that this linkage cannot be used on any other tri power set up. Its obvious their linkage must be used, so why sell it with or without linkage? They should at least indicate that purchasing the kit without the linkage is a big mistake! Having said that, I contacted Speedy regarding this issue and they were more than willing to work things out with me. I was impressed. When I got them the throttle plates were no where close to being sealed. After a bunch of adjustment and using some lapping compound and some sanding I got them better but not perfect.
