In 2017, I moved to Thousand Oaks, California, with my family. I nickname myself Houde for the convenience of writing. I started learning calligraphy when I was 8 years old. I practiced Ouyang Xun's regular script and Han Li (official script) with great success. Since the fourth grade of elementary school, I have participated in county and local calligraphy competitions and won numerous awards. After that, I practiced running script and Wei Bei by myself, so I have some experience in regular script, Official script and Wei Bei. Now doing Chinese calligraphy every day has become my best way to relieve stress besides taking care of my family.
