Twist off top features an optional flip-up sipper (or pour spout) that is extended by pressing on the base of the spout, rather than prying the opening end. In other words it can be opened & closed without having to get trail-dusted fingers on the part that goes in your mouth. Clever. Lid also features steel handle so the vessel can be secured externally (to a backpack, a belt, a saddle, a bike, an anchored tether, etc) so it doesn't have to take up any precious packing space in a bag. Bottle is very clean, even top & spout- see pictures. It has been dropped far more than ever actually used; see pictures for location of dents & scuffs. I have left the sticker on because it is cool & undamaged.
