The obverse of the coin against the background of a stylized image shows the damaged valves Blessed Virgin, the left and right of which legends: Chernobyl tragedy / 1986/2016. On the reverse of the medal are: the stylized composition - against the backdrop of the destroyed Chernobyl nuclear power plant group of liquidators; top semicircular inscription dedicated LIQUIDATORS feat.
