Description: Up for sale, a TungSol 6SN7GT "mouse ears" vintage tube. This was tested on an Amplitrex AT1000 which is an accurate test instrument. This tests fair, on a vintage tester this would be just into the good "green" zone (rejection is traditionally below 60% Gm though some testers will allow results as low as 40% and still consider the tube "good"). Results are pictured. The base has slight movement, it isn't bad. This was labeled for Motorola, mfg. by TungSol. Note: I included the automatic bias result (the better numbers) for comparison. Producing high numbers on a tester seems to be an art-form for some vendors because high scores tend to encourages higher prices. I use the results derived from Fixed Bias which produces the most conservative numbers. The test rig is pictured, I feed the tester with 116.4V sine power (my wall voltage is all over the map, frequently approaching 130V in the summer months).
