Connecticut in Hartford Co. County CT. Pyro is different front and back. Front says, "Peplau's Dairy New Britain Conn.". Back has a picture of a mother and daughter and says, "Pep's Milk assures Protection And Safety Try It!". Pyro is complete and bright. This authentic milk bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, chips or casewear. A nice addition for the collector of New Britain CT Conn. Connecticut or Hartford Co. County CT milk bottles. I have been told that this is a very hard to find milk bottle from New Britain CT. Third quart milk bottles were used in factories at lunch time where a half pint bottle of milk was not quite enough to quench the thirst of the factory worker. Third quart was only an approved legal measure in about 13 states with CT being one of them. My Policies: Pyroglazed milk bottles come filled with white milk bottle beads or white polyfill. Embossed bottles are not filled with beads. Bottles come with original milk bottle caps. Caps will be from the same dairy only when available. Please bid with confidence.
