Description: Here we have a fully reconditioned Triumph spitfire MK4 or 1500 3.89:1 ratio rear end. This fits all the MK4 and 1500 cars 1972 to 1980. It does not fit the early spitfire cars as the driveshaft and side axle flange bolt patterns are different. It can be used in the GT6 as the flanges and bolt patterns are the same. This rebuilt differential was completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. All the normal wear items - seals, gaskets, bearings, spider shims, etc. were replaced with new. It has a good used CWP set which patterns out as new. All other parts were checked for proper clearances and condition. The unit was reassembled and reclearanced to factory specs for spider gear clearance, pinion and carrier bearing preloads and ring and pinion backlash. The unit was then bench tested for function.
