The 2c Trans-Mississippi used to uprate this 1c postal card I believe overpaid the rate to Germany at that time by 1c. Please note at the extreme left on the front side of this card is a very narrow white area -- not sure what this is, barely noticeable and trivial in my opinion, but which I note for accuracy.
