Toyo Field 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 Camera, Ilex-Calumet Caltar 165mm Lens in Seikosha-SLV

Description: Toyo Field 4 3/4 x 6 1/2 Camera with Ilex-Calumet Caltar 165mm Lens in Seikosha-SLV shutter. This medium format Toyo camera is in excellent condition. There is very little wear except on the bottom plate (pictured) which shows a very slight hint of corrosion which can be cleaned up with just a little care. The handle also shows some wear and cracking in the material. Aside from that the rest of the camera body is nearly immaculate. The bellows are clean and flexible with no cracking or wear. All the movelents seem to be smooth with no problems. Also included is the Ilex-Calumet Caltar 1008 165mm lens. The lens is also in excellent condtion and we do not see any scratches or separation. This lens is mounted on the appropriate lens board for this camera. The Seikosha shutter looks to be in very nice condition as well, but we can only do a rudimentary test and since it has been sitting in storage for at least 15+ years we cannot guarantee it wouldn't need some cleaning, lubrication or adjustments. Unfortunately, we do NOT have any film holders or other accessories for this camera. Otherwise this is a very nice kit to get started with medium format photography, not to mention quite attractive. This camera will be packaged securely with great care and will be shipped with appropriate insurance to ensure safe delivery.
