Description: This toshiba HD DVD A30KU dvd player is being sold for parts or repair, it still powers on it still plays some HD DVD movies but it seems to have trouble reading some titles like for example I tested it with a copy of ant bully, transformers, and firewall, all HD DVD copies of these movies and it played them fine, but for some reason it wouldn't work with my HD DVD copies of Top Gun or my copy of Imax Blue planet documentary all discs are in predestined condition so I know it's not the discs. Since it didn't work with some of the HD DVD movies I tested that's why it's being sold for parts or repair. I also tested regular DVD movies and music CD's those work fine, it just doesn't seem to work with all HD DVD titles, if i had to guess sounds like the HD DVD side of the laser is going bad.
