Description: Description Topward 6303AThree channel DC power supply Channels 1 and 2: 30V/3A Channel 3: 5V/5A (fixed output)Four built-in analog displaysConstant current / constant voltage operation Analog Three Channel DC Power Supply (30V/3A x2, 5V/5A)The 6000 Series is a dual-channel-output DC power supply with the following features:Twin power output with tracking function for automatic selection of parallel or serial connectionShort-circuit protection against external input while providing constant voltage and constant currentAllows serial or parallel connection with the same power supply model5V/5A constant-voltage outputThe chart below provides an overview of the Topward 6000 series. These power supplies are available with a variety of output characteristics, as well as analog or digital displays, and with an option for 10-turn voltage control.Voltage (Ch 1/2)Current (Ch 1/2)Ch 3Style10 turn VC6303A0-30V0-3A5V/5AAnalogNo6303D0-30V0-3A5V/5ADigitalNo6303D-100-30V0-3A5V/5ADigitalYes6306D0-30V0-6A5V/5ADigitalNo6306D-100-30V0-6A5V/5ADigitalYes6603A0-60V0-3A5V/5AAnalogNo6603D0-60V0-3A5V/5ADigitalNo6603D-100-60V0-3A5V/5ADigitalYesConstant current / constant voltageThis power supply can automatically operate between constant voltage and constant current by responding quickly to rapid load changes. The image to the right shows the relative changes between the constant current and the constant voltage modes.Fixed 5V/5A outputThis is the standard 5V/5A power output for use by TTL logic circuits. When the load exceeds 5 amperes, the red OVERLOAD LED lights up. Serial operationSerial connection is used to connect two or more power supplies in series to obtain a higher voltage rating. The image to right uses two 6303D as an example. One unit is set at 60V/2A (MASTER setting is 30V/2A) while the other is at 40V/3A (MASTER setting is 20V/3A). The image shows the serial connection voltage/current output versus load changes.Parallel operation Parallel connection is used to connect two or more power supplies of the same model in parallel to obtain a higher current output. The image to the right uses two 6303D as an example. One unit is set at 30V/5A (MASTER setting is 30V/2.5A) while the other is at 20V/6A (MASTER setting is 20V/3A). The image shows voltage/current output versus load changes.Note:The difference between the voltage settings for two or more power supplies of the same model connected in parallel should not exceed 15V. The minimum voltage setting should not be less than 10V. If it is necessary to be lower than 10V, the voltage difference should be less than 2V. The closer to 0V, the smaller the difference required.
