VINTAGE~~ We are the original owners of this absolutely beautiful skateboard, it is in magnificent condition. The board was purchased as a Christmas present in the Winter of 1985, Purple Rain had just been released the previous year and being a mega Prince fan I had the board custom done in as much Purple as possible!! We lived in Pebble Beach, & the local Surf & Skate Shop was called SUNSHINE FREESTYLE located in Monterey, CA. Tony Hawk would do random appearances there & happened to be in the shop & offered my Father advice on selecting 2 Custom Tony Hawk Boards. They didn’t have purple grip tape so Tony suggested the Blue. Looking back I wish now that I asked him to sign it but that didn’t happen. The skateboard listed is that exact board, it was used by my sibling without my permission back in the mid-eighties who put the scuffs & scratches in it - but then put in storage until today. We know that the board is expensive - but it is a Collectors' Item and we wouldn't ask for it if we didn't think it was worth it- The older it gets, the higher the value & price on it will increase.
