Description: TJ-V2 / For Kadee Trucks (2 axle) "HO"Now you can put Kadee trucks on almost any freight car! The [ Truck Jig ] will to hold a Kadee (2 axle) freight car truck bolster upside-down allowing you to drill out the bolster boss to the needed diameter. Use a “Pin Vise” and drill them by hand so you do not destroy the truck. Exercise caution as the jig’s cradle is less than 1/8th inch deep. Most freight cars have 1/8th inch bolster king-pins and need a 0.1285” bore (#30 drill bit) in the truck bolster. Mantua freight cars with a metal under-frame have 9/64th king-pins and require 0.147” boss (#26 drill bit) in the truck bolster. The center void extends all the way through the jig. The mounting holes will accommodate a #6 screws to mount the [ Truck Jig ] to a block of wood or a bench top. The Kadee truck pictured is not included with your purchase; it is for illustrative purposes only. The [ TJ-V2 ] will hold only Kadee (2 axle) freight car trucks.The TJ V2 WILL NOT hold the new split bolster Kadee trucks. Use the TJ-R1 for Central Valley (2 axle) trucks.
