Description: By Tilso Japan, a bookend commemorating the centennial of the Civil War. This piece is part of a set, one representing the Confederacy, one the Union. The piece for sale, I believe, is the Confederacy end, but the flag and one of the cannon balls is missing. I have seen a picture of a complete set on the internet and the Union is represented as the right bookend and the Confederacy as the left. The remains of the Tilso label are on the bottom. Other than the missing cannon ball (picture 7) and flag, there is no damage to the piece.
