Description: This beautiful extra large 19.5" tall 19" wide 10" deep 98 pound 8 oz genuine Hawaiian basaltl Tiki bird owl carving is a stunning piece of artistry in stone.This stone bird statue is a unique addition to any collection. One or two of the pictures show the owl with polished lava rock eyeball inserts there's many options to include a eyeball there's bronze eyeballs glass crystals it's something that can easily be added later on down the road just a little dab of rubber cement or silicone can hold in 1-in glass marble not everybody likes my rock carvings when I add like for example a glass eyeball but some people love it so it's just a preference for some and not for others something for you to think about in the future I have other pieces that I'll be listing here on eBay that have glass eyes and they're also have LED lights in them that turn on a desk so you get that glowing eyeball look which is a little Haunting in a way but I love it... The statute has flat bottom and stands up on its own. If this will be mounted outdoors and you want a more permanent secure installation there is a a 1-in hole it's about 12 inches into the bottom of stone that you can epoxy in a stainless steel rod if you want to.. The pictures show the piece in different lighting conditions and also the Stone is damp in some photos which darkens the stone you can darken the stone even more almost turn it black if you apply an oil like a mineral oil to the stone that's something that you can do once it's delivered it's very easy to apply an oil to The Rock. The other pictures show the stone dry. The shipping is a physical street address only because it's going to be shipped via UPS the stone weighs almost 100 lb so you have to exercise some caution while handling the stone... I'm so in love with this piece and it displays so nicely at night with lighting or next to a fire pit the Shadows from a moving fire flickering on the sculpture really create this movement of the bird all the details in the carving kind of seem like it moves underneath the fire like really powerful piece of art for me I feel this piece has a lot of "Mana" ENERGY emanating. Not all my work I feel that way but this is one of those pieces that is special to me. The statue is perfect for display in a hut or bar setting, or outdoors adding a touch of authenticity to any space.
