Description: Three 1970's Cleveland Indians Wirephotos Garland, Kendall, Torborg, Guardians, New York Yankees, Kansas City Royals, Toronto Blue Jays This listing is for the following Type III Wire Photos: 1) April 28, 1977 Type III, 8 X 10, black & white, UPI photo of Wayne Garland in the dugout after getting shelled by the inaugural year Toronto Blue Jays. The photo is in news archive used condition with corner and edge wear and some creasing. The back of the photo has a UPI primary stamp consistent with the era. There are no editor's marks/notations. Please see the photos. By the way, the Blue Jays won in 12 innings and Garland took a no decision despite giving up four runs in the first inning. It was the Toronto franchise's first extra-inning game. 2) September 6, 1977 Type III, 8 X 10, black & white, AP wirephoto titled "One or the Other" depicting George Zeber of the New York Yankees and the baseball approaching home plate at the same time and catcher Fred Kendall of the Cleveland Indians blocking the plate. Zeber was tagged out, but the Yankees went on to win the game 8-3 on their way to the 1977 World Series Championship. The photo is in news archive used condition with edge and corner wear and creases. There is no stamping on the back or editor's marks/notations.
