Description: THOMAS KINKADE Make a Wish Cottage Gazebo LAMP MUSIC BOX 2005. This clean and beautiful 2005 Thomas Kinkade ceramic gazebo music box is an ivory color with gold trim. It has a center revolving piece with images of the paintings: Make A Wish Cottage, Morning Glory Cottage, and Sweetheart Cottage. There is a light fixture that uses a nightlight-type bulb to illuminate the images of the paintings. It clips into a hole in the bottom and has an in-line switch in the power cord to turn it on or off. There is a key wound music box with an on/off switch. The music box plays "Canon in D Major". The revolving painting images in the gazebo have a cracked crazing look finish. It is a planned effect, not a defect. I have tested the light - it works fine. I have tested the music box - it works, but sticks in places - you can help it along by turning the key counter clockwise, I have found that it also helps to add a little pressure pushing in and down, then it may turn on its own, or you may have to keep "helping" it. The music box is also the mechanism that turns the drum with the center images - which means that if the music box "sticks", the images also "stick". So if you want a music box that is perfect, don't buy this one - it is being sold "as is". This does NOT come with the original box, packaging, or papers. Approximate measurements: 8.25" tall x 3.25 diameter at the base.
