Description: This is a Silver coloured cased pendant cable chain necklace made from a FIVE PENCE coin. It features The Badge of Scotland, a Thistle Royally Crowned. First issued in 1990 to replace the large coins. Final year of issue was 2008. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The case is Silver plated with an engraved spiral detail on the rear and a diameter of 22 mm, height 30 mm. The cable chain is Silver plated with a Lobster claw clasp. Length is 450 mm (18") which can extend to 500 mm (20"). The photos are of the actual item. There is no year, just the Crowned Thistle.
