Description: Offered is the book "The Swamp Rabbit Railroad-Legacy and Legend", written and published by Mann Batson and printed by the Faith Printing Co. of Taylors, South Carolina. This book about the late 1800s-early 1900s railroad in Greenville and upstate South Carolina has a 2010 copyright date and appears to be a first edition. It has been signed by the author, with a personal dedication. There are many black and white photos and illustrations. This is a rare, possibly unique find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other copies for sale on eBay or anywhere else. The book is approx. 8 3/4" x 5 1/2" and contains 201 pages. It is in excellent, almost like-new condition. The hard blue cover has no wear, the gold on the spine and front still shiny. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers are clean. I see no missing or torn pages and all are well-attached to the binding and clean. I see no writing in the book other than that of the author. I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
