Description: Item Description A Hallmark Birthday card that pictures a clown on the front that was sent by Morrissey to Liz Taylor. Morrissey has written the following message inside that card ‘Dear Liz, I Hope You Enjoyed Your Birthday Love etc – Steven’. It is extremely rare for Morrissey to sign his Christian name ‘Steven’ on anything. The birthday card comes from the collection of Liz Taylor who was employed by The Smiths manager Joe Moss at the Crazy Face offices, Manchester. Liz also designed t-shirts and artwork for various early Smiths projects. Accompanied with a letter of provenance from Liz Taylor. The birthday card measures 11.5cm x 17.25cm (4.5 inches x 6.75 inches). The condition is excellent.
