Description: Dive into the world of classic literature with W. Somerset Maugham's "The Razor's Edge," a 1945 printing from The Blakiston Company. This hardcover edition invites readers to explore themes of identity and self-discovery through its engaging narrative. A potential treasure for collectors, this copy could be autographed, adding a personal touch from the acclaimed author. Published in Philadelphia and crafted in the United States, this original work is a testament to Maugham's enduring legacy in the realm of fiction. Whether for scholarly study or leisure reading, this book is a timeless addition to any literary collection, offering a window into the complexities of human nature and the pursuit of life's edges. (wow, ebay has improved its AI. Think I'll keep this one. I usually write my own). My personal mystery about the book. Doubleday purchased Blankston in 1944; also in 1944 it published a limited signed edition of the novel. What we have here is a 1945 edition of the novel by Blankston which apparently is also signed by Maugham. Remember Blankston is now owned by Doubleday. I'm starting the bidding low because I'm not 100% sure the signature is personal - I believe it is. Approximately 8 by 5 1/2 inches. 246 pages. Wow! After posting I noticed a major error in the printing - EDGE is spelled RDGE. This adds to the mystery!
