I believe to be the year it was made but not a 100% sure. Educational No table of contents are included so I am unsure if it is complete or not since it comes with so much material. Also I don't have a way of testing the VHS tapes or the cassette tapes to know if they are working or not so it is being sold AS IS. If you end up purchasing please remember to pull the plastic white tray up because the rest of the learning material is stored beneath the white plastic tray. Box isn't in that good of shape. There are a few hand written pieces of paper inside of the box that appear to be from a teacher who was creating sheets while using this game but I don't believe they are original to the game. The box is a bit banged up and has wear and tear to it. Especially on one side where it appears there may have been some water damage to the one side of the box. There is some spots of paint on the box and left behind markings from price tag stickers. The contents inside seem to be in good condition however. I have taken close photographs of the item from all angles. Also I have not attempted to deep clean the item because I didn't want to risk damaging it so there may be areas that need to be cleaned.
