Description: Collectable vintage hardback in the ever popular series. Published by Methuen in 1956, later printing of first edition. Illustrated very nicely by W. Lindsay Cable. BOOK CONDITION - ACCEPTABLE DUSTWRAPPER CONDITION - N/A Acceptable condition, without dustwrapper. A very worn but intact reading copy or collection filler. Blue boards have a lot of browning and some other marking. Corners are bumped and rubbed. Spine has a small split at the top and a damaged area at bottom. Front hinge has been repaired to strengthen the binding. There are a couple of names and addresses and some otther writing in both the front and back of book and the list of chapters has been ticked off. Pages are tanned and heavily foxed.
