The cover has some light surface shelf ware and with rubbing to the corners. The spine area has some small parts missing and has some light rubbing along the edges, otherwise in good condition. Outer pages have gold gilt finish. The hinges, inner boards and endpapers are in good order. The front one"s have a small stamp to them as does the back of the title page. With frontispiece. The book is profusely illustrated throughout with intext drawings (see pictures). The book has 336 pages including the index. The pages are in good condition. Also with map.
