All edges marbled, marbled endpapers. Engraved Prize Certificate to front pastedown of Vol.I. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed. Vol.II with several long scratches to upper board (see pic). Engraved frontispieces to both volumes with a total of 76 illustrations (in-text, plates) and 14 maps, spume folding, some hand-colored.
