Description: This is a custom 1/6 scale, 12" figure commemorating one of my favorite characters Sgt Samuel Coldfoot (played by Martin Sensmeier) from the WWII animated mini-series, The Liberator (released 11-11-20 on Netflix). Coldfoot is a composite character from the real life WWII 45th Infantry Division, The Thunderbirds, let by real life infantry commander Felix "Shotgun" Sparks. Sparks was a flamboyant, real American hero from our Greatest Generation. The 45th fought through the Italian Campaign into the liberation of France and the Dachau internment camp. For 500 days these men fought overwhelming odds and became one of the most decorated units in WWII. One unique thing about this unit is that they were made up of white cowboys, Mexican Americans, and Native American soldiers, men that couldn't even have a beer together in most bars in the United States at the time. Native American, Sgt Samuel Coldfoot was my favorite character of this animated movie. If you like a good, historical story of part of our Greatest Generation check this out on Netflix.
