Well maintained. *Because our clients are mostly jazz collectors and connoisseurs, as we are, we made it our policy to only sell vinyl that we grade in VERY GOOD (VG) condition or better. This vinyl is in our opinion a VG+, looks and plays great. Record Grade VG+ = ONE OWNER. Very well maintained. Just listened to both sides of the whole album with headphones on and it plays beautiful. The vinyl looks clean. Little to no surface noise at all. A few minor surface scratches from playing the record that have no effect on music. No skips or jumps. Difficult to find this rare vintage recording in such nice condition. (see pictures) Jacket Grade VG+ = Very well maintained. We kept it on our shelf in plastic cover all these years. NO Writing. Thin European style jacket. One stamp on rear cover "S235" for identification and a handwritten "1..25" on lower right rear corner. A tiny bit of corner dents from normal shelf use. A very clean jacket for a 56 year old album. (see pictures) The pictures were taken of the exact vinyl record and album cover you will receive, moments before this listing was written. Please make sure to review the images and ask any questions prior to bidding. *We consider all reasonable offers and respond to ebay messages immediately. The Hi-Lo's were an a cappella quartet formed in 1953, who achieved their greatest fame in the late 1950s and 1960s. The group's name is reportedly a reference to their extreme vocal and physical ranges (Bob Strasen and Bob Morse were tall, Gene Puerling and Clark Burroughs were short). Martin Louis "Marty" Paich (January 23, 1925 – August 12, 1995) was an American pianist, composer, arranger, producer, music director, and conductor. In a career spanning half a century, he worked in these capacities for such artists as Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, Sarah Vaughan, Stan Kenton, Ella Fitzgerald, Mel Tormé, Ray Charles, Gary Crosby, Spirit, Johnny Rivers, Aretha Franklin, Linda Ronstadt, Al Hirt, Jack Jones, Neil Diamond, Stan Getz, Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Jackson, Art Pepper, Ethel Azama, Mahalia Jackson, Linda Lawson, Toto (his son David is a founding member of that band), and many others.
